No, I don’t follow my own blog. Truthfully, I never gave the matter much thought until someone decided to ask the question. Now that I’ve been forced to consider it, I’m not entirely sure what purpose following my own blog would serve. I already know what’s going to be published. Hell, I’m the poor bastard responsible for putting it there.
What’s interesting, however, is that I follow several of my smaller sites. Yes, you read that correctly. I follow those, but not my main blog, Memoirs of Madness.
Does that make sense? Of course not.
Then again, I gave up trying to figure myself out years ago. There are certain mysteries in life best left unexplored, and I’m reasonably certain I’m one of them.
Besides, did you know there’s a limit to how much Tylenol a person can take in a single day?
Who knew, right?
Author’s Note
A special thanks to Sadje for another entertaining Sunday Poser, #307. Who knew such a simple question could lead to this much self-examination? I’ve learned absolutely nothing about myself, but at least we got a good laugh out of it. Thanks again, Sadje, for encouraging the madness!

Thank you, Stephanie! Photography has been one of my passions for a very long time. I enjoy capturing those little moments that most people walk right past without giving them a second thought. Of course, sometimes I take a photograph and spend the next hour wondering what possessed me to take it in the first place. Apparently, my camera understands me about as well as I understand myself. I appreciate your kind words!

Thank you, Sadje! That’s what makes these questions so entertaining. You ask something perfectly innocent, and the next thing you know, people are questioning their habits, examining their motivations, and discovering things about themselves they probably would have preferred to leave buried. As for me, I managed to turn a simple yes-or-no question into a minor existential crisis. Quite an accomplishment, considering I hadn’t even finished my coffee. I’m beginning to suspect you know exactly what you’re doing with these questions. 😂 Thanks again, my friend!
