PHOTOGRAPHY – COLOR
One of the things I love about photography is you never know why you take a picture. There’s something about the lighting, the feel, or something else that captures you and makes you snap the shutter. I’ve had these photos for years. When I first took these photos, I had no idea what I would do with them. Yet, I hung onto them, wondering If I would see something different the next time I looked at them.

Arguably the twistiest, turniest river in Illinois. We took a trip from Galesburg, IL to Dixon, IL several years back. It seemed we were crossing the Spoon River every couple of miles.

Lol …definitely. I was taking a country drive heading to the back side of Peoria. When I stopped for lunch. Before COVID, I would fill up a thermos and pack a lunch grab my camera equipment and make a day of it. Every time a different direction. I miss doing that now that I think of it. Thanks for the reminder.
