PHOTOGRAPHY – WEEKEND SKY – COLOR
I love the clouds; there is something about their untold story. As they shift it is almost like watching a movie, and you can’t wait to see it going to lead. However, I found myself staring up at this cloudless sky thankful for being able to enjoy its beauty. So, I pulled out my phone and took a quick picture. My grandson looked up at the sky, and then he looked at me puzzled. He signed what was I looking at. I simply said life.

Capturing the beauty of life in a cloudless sky – a moment worth cherishing. 📷☁️

In the late 80s to mid-90s, I lived in Northern California and EVERY DAY from maybe March to November the sky was blue without a cloud in it. I’d look up and just marvel at it. In Connecticut (especially summer!), they are NOT frequent so they are a treat. However, when I do see a cloudless, bright blue sky, I’m reminded of 9/11 because that’s exactly what the sky looked like that day.

Northern and Southern California are like two different states. I remember spending time around Leggett and Anchor Bay. All the small communities in between. Beautiful country out there. I wish I had photos from that time.

They are! We lived in the Sonoma County area. We camped at the Anchor Bay Campground and we spent time in Gualala and Mendocino. Even that area is so different from where we lived! This brings back memories!

Gualala, that was the town I had business at. I couldn’t remember the name for nothing. G something, I knew there isn’t with that name. Thank you for clearing out a few cobwebs.
