POETRY
I wanted to love you; I thought I could
I tried to heal you; I thought I should
I want to peel the sweet aroma of your breath from my face
Before the beast within you cuts me to waste
You told me that our love was as bright as the sun,
My precious angel, you shouldn’t have come
Lightning blazes a path straight to you,
My haunting decadence quakes beneath my feet.
You shouldn’t trust me anymore.
It’s so easy for me to be no more
Try to hear my plea, precious love
My demented passion warps your world
As you become….
Lost inside my toxic madness
I’d die for you, but I am already dead
Take these chains, release me from my lunacy
I am eternally burning, but our love still grows
My flesh, melting to steel
My fist clenching
My armor gleaming
I am awaken
I am reborn
From the Breath of Madness
Emerging, wielding the Dragon’s Shadow
It is cutting away the doubt of my return,
Severing the recollection of my absence.
Remember,
I am Mangus Khan
I shall never willingly submit nor succumb to the tormenting
Echoes of Madness
