T-Rex were massive in the UK. They were part of the Glam Rock scene in the 70s.

I didn’t know that. I was more familiar with the Power Station cover. My older brother had to school me.

The UK title of the single was ‘Get It On’ but the US title was ‘Bang a Gong’.

That’s funny. I heard the Power Station version first too. T. Rex and Marc Bolan were a great band.
