Ladies and Gentlemen the Rolling Stones is a great concert movie from their 1972 North American tour supporting Exile on Main Street. It doesn’t have the cultural references to Altamonte that the Stones now seem to be most remembered for in their early days. It’s just a great rock and roll show. To me the best part of it is watching a young guitar virtuoso named Mick Taylor.
Love the Stones and this one makes me remember the scene in “Forrest Gump” when it was playing.

I’m such a Stones fan. I wish I could thank the girl who turned me on to them, but I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t go so well.
